Car
If you're driving, head towards Route 1 (Odawara-Atsugi Road) and exit at the Hakone Exit. Follow the signs for Hakone and continue on Route 734. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for Heiwa no Torii (平和の鳥居) directing you to Motohakone. Turn left onto Motohakone Road. After approximately 1 kilometer, you will arrive at Heiwa no Torii, located at 80-1 Motohakone. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Heiwa no Torii using public transportation, take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Gora Station. At Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Cable Car and ride to Sounzan Station. From Sounzan Station, take the Hakone Ropeway to Togendai Station. Once at Togendai, board the Hakone Sightseeing Cruise and disembark at Motohakone. From the dock, it's a short 10-minute walk to Heiwa no Torii, following the signs along the lakeside path.
