Car
If you're driving, head towards 531 Miyanoshita, Hakone, Ashigarashimo District, Kanagawa 250-0403. From the Hakone-Yumoto Station, take Route 1 (Hakone Shindo) towards Miyanoshita. After approximately 10 minutes, look for signs indicating Miyanoshita. There is limited parking available near the 人馬道の道標, so be prepared to park your car and walk a short distance.
Public Transportation
Take the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station towards Gora Station. Get off at Miyanoshita Station (approximately a 20-minute ride). From Miyanoshita Station, exit the station and walk towards Route 1. Follow the signs to 人馬道の道標, which is about a 15-minute walk from the station. Be aware of the steep paths, so wear comfortable shoes.
Taxi
For a more convenient option, you can take a taxi directly from Hakone-Yumoto Station to 人馬道の道標. The fare will be approximately ¥1,500-¥2,000 and the journey will take about 10 minutes, depending on traffic.
