Car
If you are driving, from central Hakone, take Route 1 towards Odawara. Follow the signs for Hakone and then take a left onto Route 735 towards Ninotaira. After about 10 minutes, you will see signs for the Hakone Open-Air Museum. The Picasso Pavilion is located within the museum grounds. There is parking available at the museum, which usually costs around 1,000 yen for a day.

Public Transportation (Train and Bus)
If you prefer public transportation, start by taking the Hakone Tozan Railway from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Gora Station. This journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once at Gora Station, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Bus and board the bus heading towards the Hakone Open-Air Museum. The bus ride takes about 10 minutes. After arriving at the museum, follow the signs to the Picasso Pavilion located inside the museum.

Another option is to take the Odakyu Hakone Highway Bus directly from Shinjuku Station in Tokyo to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. The bus journey takes around 2 hours and drops you off right at the museum. From there, you can easily access the Picasso Pavilion within the museum grounds.
