By Car
If you are driving from Hakone, take the Odawara-Atsugi Road (Route 135) heading towards Fujisawa. Continue on Route 135 until you reach the junction with Route 467. Merge onto Route 467 towards Fujisawa. Follow the signs for Katase Nishihama beaches. The beaches are located at 'Katasekaigan, 2-chōme, 片瀬海岸３丁目, Fujisawa'. There is parking available near the beach, but please note that parking fees may apply, typically around ¥500 to ¥1,000 for the day.

By Train
For those using public transportation, start by taking the Odakyu Line from Hakone-Yumoto Station to Odawara Station. At Odawara Station, transfer to the JR Tokaido Line and travel towards Fujisawa Station (approximately 30 minutes). Once you arrive at Fujisawa Station, transfer to the Enoshima Electric Railway (Enoden) and take the train towards Kamakura. Get off at Katase-Enoshima Station, which is about a 10-minute ride. From the station, it is a short 5-minute walk to Katase Nishihama beaches. The total cost for the train journey will be around ¥1,000 to ¥1,500 depending on your route.

Alternatively, you can take a direct bus from Hakone to Fujisawa. Look for the buses heading towards Fujisawa Station at the Hakone Bus Terminal. The bus ride will take approximately 40 minutes and cost around ¥1,000. Once you reach Fujisawa Station, follow the previous instructions for taking the Enoden train to Katase-Enoshima Station.
