    If you're driving from central Takayama, head southeast on Route 158. Continue for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 41. Turn left onto Route 41 and drive for approximately 1 kilometer. Turn right onto Shinmeimachi Street, and you will find the Hida Takayama Retro Museum at 4 Chome-7 Shinmeimachi on your left. There is parking available nearby.

    Public Transportation

    From Takayama Station, take the Nohi Bus (bound for Hida Furukawa) and get off at the Shinmeimachi stop, which is approximately a 10-minute ride. Once you exit the bus, walk southwest along Shinmeimachi Street for about 5 minutes, and you will reach the Hida Takayama Retro Museum at 4 Chome-7 Shinmeimachi. The museum will be on your right.

    If you are already in the vicinity of Takayama, you can walk to the Hida Takayama Retro Museum. Start from Takayama Jinya, head north on Jinya-machi Street, then take a left onto Route 158.
