If you're driving from Hida, head south on Route 41. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Route 158. Turn left onto Route 158 and follow the signs for Hida-Furukawa. After about 5 kilometers, you will see signs directing you to Setogawa. The journey should take about 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. There is free parking available near the site.
Public Transportation
To reach Setogawa via public transportation, start by taking the Hida Railway from Hida-Furukawa Station. Board the train heading towards Takayama. After two stops, disembark at Setogawa Station. From Setogawa Station, the site is a short 10-minute walk. Follow the signs toward the scenic area, which is well-marked. The train fare is approximately 300 yen one way.
