Car
From the center of Higo, head south on Route 218. Continue for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach Takachiho. Once in Takachiho, look for signs directing you towards Iwato. Turn left onto Route 327 and drive for about 5 kilometers. You will see signs for Amanoyasukawara. Turn right onto the road leading to Amanoyasukawara, where you will find parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
Begin your journey at Higo Station. Take the Nishitetsu Bus bound for Takachiho (approximately a 30-minute ride). Once you arrive at Takachiho, transfer to a local bus heading to Iwato. The bus will take you directly to the entrance of Amanoyasukawara. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance, as they may vary throughout the day.
