The journey will take approximately 40 minutes, depending on traffic. Parking is available near the spring.

For those using public transportation, take a train from Higo to Kumamoto Station. From Kumamoto Station, transfer to a bus headed towards Minamiaso. The bus ride will take about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Minamiaso, you can take a local taxi or walk to Shirakawa Spring, which is around 5 kilometers away from the bus stop. The total journey may take approximately 2 to 3 hours.
