Driving
From Hirado city, cross the Ikitsuki Ohashi Bridge to Ikitsuki Island. Follow the road towards the northern tip of the island. The drive takes approximately 30 minutes from the bridge. Parking is available near the lighthouse. Note that the road to the lighthouse offers scenic views of the island's west coast.
Public Transport
Take the Ikitsuki Bus from Hirado Pier to Ikitsuki Island. Check the timetable for specific stops and connections. From the nearest bus stop to Obae Lighthouse, a taxi or local bus may be required to cover the remaining distance. Confirm availability and fares locally. The bus to Hirado from Sasebo Station is approximately ¥1500.
