If you are driving, start by heading south on Route 6 from Hitachi. Follow the signs for Mito/Tokyo. After approximately 50 kilometers, merge onto the Joban Expressway (E6) towards Tokyo. Continue on the expressway for about 80 kilometers, then take the exit towards Ueno/Taito City. Follow the signs for Taito City and merge onto Route 4. Continue straight until you reach Hanakawado. Riverside Gallery is located at 1 Chome-1-1 Hanakawado, which is easily visible from the road.
Public Transportation
To reach Riverside Gallery using public transportation, first make your way to Hitachi Station. From there, take the JR Joban Line towards Ueno. After approximately 1 hour, disembark at Ueno Station. Once at Ueno Station, transfer to the Tokyo Metro Ginza Line and head towards Asakusa Station. Get off at the next stop, which is Tawaramachi Station. Exit the station and walk east on Route 1 for about 10 minutes. Turn left onto Hanakawado Street, and you will find Riverside Gallery at 1 Chome-1-1 Hanakawado.
