Getting There

    If you are driving, start by navigating to the city center of Hitachi. From Hitachi Station, head south on Route 6. Continue for approximately 30 km until you reach the junction for Route 20. Take the exit towards Kokubunji. Follow Route 20 for about 15 km, then turn onto Route 4 towards Minamicho. After about 2 km, you will see signs for Tonogayato Garden. Turn left onto Minamicho, and the garden will be on your right at 2 Chome-16.

    To reach Tonogayato Garden by train, start at Hitachi Station. Take the JR Joban Line and transfer at Kuki Station to the JR Musashino Line. Travel towards Fuchu and get off at Kokubunji Station. From there, exit the station and turn left. Walk straight for about 1 km along the main road until you reach Minamicho. Turn right, and you will find Tonogayato Garden at 2 Chome-16.

  • Bus

    Take the Hitachi City Bus from Hitachi Station. Board the bus heading to Kokubunji and stay on for approximately 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Minamicho' bus stop. From the bus stop, walk straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection. Cross the road, turn left onto Minamicho, and walk for another 300 meters. Tonogayato Garden will be on your right at 2 Chome-16.
