Getting There

Car
From the center of Kai, head east on Route 20 (Chuo Highway). Continue for about 30 km until you reach the Nishitokyo area. Take the exit toward Route 5 (Kichijoji Interchange) and merge onto Route 5. Keep driving straight until you reach Nishitokyo. Follow the signs for Shibakubocho, and when you reach the intersection at 5 Chome, turn left. The Tamarokuto Science Center will be on your right at 5 Chome-10-64.

Public Transportation
Start at Kai Station and take the JR Chuo Line towards Tokyo. Change at Kichijoji Station to the Keio Line. From Kichijoji Station, take the Keio Line to Shimo-Takaido Station. Once there, exit the station and walk to the bus stop for the Nishitokyo City Bus (Bus No. 10). Board the bus and get off at the 'Tamarokuto Science Center' stop. The center is just a short walk from the bus stop.
