Local buses are available from Furano Station to the city center. Ask the driver to drop you off near Furano Shrine, which is a short walk from the bus stop. The local bus fare is approximately ¥200-300. Alternatively, the Lavender-go bus connects Asahikawa Station with Asahikawa Airport, Biei and Furano.

Taxis are readily available at Furano Station. A taxi ride to Furano Shrine takes about 5-10 minutes and costs approximately ¥600-¥800, as flag fall for a taxi in Furano is about 600 YEN.

If driving, take Route 38 towards Furano City. Follow the signs for Furano Shrine, located at 17-6 Wakamatsucho, Furano. Parking is available near the shrine. Parking is free. From Sapporo, the toll is around ¥1500.
