Car
If you're driving from the center of Iki, head towards the nearest ferry terminal to take a ferry to the mainland. The closest terminal may be the Iki Ferry Terminal. Once on the mainland, drive north on Route 382. Follow the signs for Nagano, which will eventually connect to the Nagano Expressway. After approximately 3 hours of driving, take the exit for Nagano City and follow the signs for Motoyoshicho. The temple will be located at Motoyoshicho-500, Nagano, 380-0851. Parking is available nearby.

Public Transportation
To reach Daihongan, Zenkōji Temple using public transport, start from your location in Iki and head to the Iki Ferry Terminal. Take a ferry to the mainland, which takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival, take a bus to Nagasaki Station. From Nagasaki Station, board an express train to Nagano Station. The train journey will take approximately 3-4 hours. Once you reach Nagano Station, transfer to a local bus or taxi to Motoyoshicho. The temple is located at Motoyoshicho-500, Nagano, 380-0851, and is a short walk from the bus stop or taxi drop-off point.
