From Kyoto Station's Karasuma Central Exit, Nidec Kyoto Tower is directly across the street, a short 2-minute walk. Exit the station, cross the street at the traffic light, and you'll find the entrance to the tower.

Public Transport

Nidec Kyoto Tower is easily accessible via Kyoto's extensive public transportation network. From Kyoto Station, which is served by JR Lines, Kintetsu Railway, and the Kyoto Municipal Subway, simply walk towards the Karasuma Central Exit. The tower is right across the street. Kyoto City buses also stop at Kyoto Station. A single bus or subway fare within the city is ¥230 for adults.

Taxis are readily available at Kyoto Station. The taxi stand is located outside the station. A short taxi ride from anywhere in central Kyoto to Nidec Kyoto Tower will typically cost between ¥620 and ¥2500, depending on the distance and traffic. The base fare for a taxi in Kyoto is ¥490 for the first 1.5km, with an additional ¥320 per kilometer thereafter.
