Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start by heading south on Route 42 from the center of Ise. Continue on Route 42 for about 20 kilometers (approximately 30 minutes). Look for signs directing you to Shima City and Daiozaki Lighthouse. Once you reach Shima City, follow the signs to Daiozaki, which will take you onto Daiocho Nakiri Street. The lighthouse will be on your left at 54 Daiocho Nakiri, Shima, Mie 517-0603. Parking is available near the lighthouse, but be mindful of any parking fees.

• Public Transportation

  For those using public transportation, take the Kintetsu Limited Express from Ise Station to Shima-Isobe Station. This journey takes about 30 minutes. Once at Shima-Isobe Station, you can take a local bus (Shima Kotsu) heading towards Daiozaki. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. You will need to get off at the 'Daiozaki' bus stop. From there, it's just a short 10-minute walk to the lighthouse at 54 Daiocho Nakiri. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time for departure times and the cost, which typically ranges around 500 yen.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, consider taking a taxi from your location in Ise Shima. Taxis are readily available and can take you directly to Daiozaki Lighthouse. The ride may take around 30 minutes and will cost approximately 4,000 to 5,000 yen, depending on traffic. Make sure to have the address ready for the driver: 54 Daiocho Nakiri, Shima, Mie 517-0603.
