Train and Bus
From Nagoya or Osaka, take a Kintetsu Limited Express train to Iseshi or Ujiyamada Station. From there, the CAN Bus connects to major attractions, including the Ise Grand Shrines and Meoto Iwa. A Michikusa Pass offers unlimited rides on local buses in the Ise and Toba area for ¥1300 (1 day) or ¥1900 (2 days).
Ferry and Train
From Chubu Centrair International Airport (NGO), take a high-speed boat to Tsu-Nagisamachi (45 min). Transfer to an express bus to Toba Bus Center, stopping at Ise Jingu's Geku and Naiku (85–115 min). Alternatively, take a train from Tsu Station to Iseshi Station. Kintetsu Limited Express from Nagoya to Ise (Iseshi or Ujiyamada Station) in 80 minutes for ¥3080.
Car
Renting a car offers flexibility to explore the peninsula. Take the Pearl Road for a scenic drive between Toba and Shima. Be aware that some roads are narrow. Parking is available near major attractions, but may be limited. Tolls may apply on expressways. Check online toll calculators for estimates.
