Driving
From central Ishigaki City, rent a car or take a taxi towards the northern part of the island. Drive for approximately 30 minutes, heading past Yonehara Beach. Look for the Yaeyama Palm Grove sign; the path to the Blue Cave starts near the parking area. Note that the roads can be narrow and unmaintained in some sections. Parking near the Yaeyama Palm Grove costs around ¥300.

After parking near the Yaeyama Palm Grove, follow the jungle path for about 10 minutes. The path leads to a beach, which serves as the entry point to the Blue Cave. Depending on the tide, you may need to walk or swim the final 50-70 meters to the cave entrance. Be cautious of slippery rocks and uneven terrain. There are no specific access fees for the Blue Cave itself, but guided tours will include their own costs.
