Car

If you're driving from central Iwami, take Route 9 heading east towards Tottori. Follow the signs for Tottori City. Once you reach Tottori City, continue on Route 9 until you see signs for the Tottori Sand Dunes (Tottori Sakyu). Take the exit for Fukubecho Yuyama and follow the local roads to the dunes. The address is 2164-971 Fukubecho Yuyama, Tottori, 689-0105. There is ample parking available at the site.

Public Transportation

To reach Tottori Sand Dunes using public transport, first head to the nearest train station in Iwami, such as Gotsu Station. Take a train on the Sanin Main Line towards Tottori. After arriving at Tottori Station, transfer to the local bus service that goes to the Tottori Sand Dunes. The bus will take you directly to the dunes.
