Car
If you are driving, start from the Izu area and head towards Fuji City. Take Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) towards Shizuoka. After about 40 minutes, take the exit towards Fuji/Tadehara (出口 Fuji/Tadehara). Once you exit, continue on Tadehara Road for about 5 minutes. Hachimangu Shrine will be on your left at 99 Tadehara, Fuji, Shizuoka 416-0931. Look for signs indicating Hachimangu Shrine to help guide you.
Train and Walk
If you prefer public transportation, take the JR Tokaido Line from Izu to Fuji Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Fuji Station, exit the station and head towards the bus stop. Take the bus heading to Tadehara (田寺行き). The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Tadehara bus stop, and from there, it is a short 5-minute walk to Hachimangu Shrine, located at 99 Tadehara. Follow the signs for Hachimangu Shrine once you are off the bus.
