Car
If you're driving from central Izu, head southeast on Route 135. Continue on this road, which will take you along the coast with beautiful ocean views. After about 20 minutes, turn left onto Route 11 towards Atami. Stay on Route 11 for approximately 10 minutes, and then take the exit towards Shimotaga. Follow the signs to Masuo Ikeda Memorial Museum. The museum will be on your left at 1130-1 Shimotaga, Atami, Shizuoka 413-0102. There is parking available on-site.

To reach the museum using public transportation, start by taking a train from Izu city to Atami Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Atami Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal located just outside. Take the 'Shimotaga' bus line, which runs frequently. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Shimotaga' bus stop. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the Masuo Ikeda Memorial Museum. The address is 1130-1 Shimotaga, Atami, Shizuoka 413-0102. Note that you may need to purchase a bus ticket, which costs around 300 yen.
