Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving, start from central Izu. Take Route 1 (Tōmei Expressway) towards Fuji. Continue on Route 1 for approximately 25 kilometers. Take the exit towards Fuji/Ishikawa, then merge onto Route 139. Follow the signs for Fuji and continue straight. After about 5 kilometers, take a right onto Imai Street. Myohoji will be located on your left at 2 Chome-7-1 Imai.

  • Public Transportation

    From Izu, head to the nearest train station and take the JR Tōkaidō Main Line towards Tokyo. Get off at Fuji Station, which is about a 30-minute ride. Once at Fuji Station, exit the station and head to the bus terminal. Take the Fujikyu Bus (Line 1) towards Imai. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. Get off at the Imai stop, and Myohoji will be a short walk from there, located at 2 Chome-7-1 Imai.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a taxi, you can easily find one near your hotel or any main street. Just tell the driver to take you to Myohoji at 2 Chome-7-1 Imai, Fuji. The drive will take around 20-30 minutes depending on traffic.
