If you are driving from Izu, take the Izu Skyline road for scenic views. Follow the signs to Shizuoka and merge onto Route 1. Once you reach the city of Shizuoka, follow signs for Nihondaira Zoo. The address is 1767-6 Ikeda, Suruga Ward, Shizuoka, 422-8005. There is parking available at the zoo, with a fee of approximately 500 yen.

Train and Bus
For public transportation, take the train from Izu to Shizuoka Station. From Shizuoka Station, transfer to the Shizutetsu Just Line bus. Take the bus towards Nihondaira and alight at the Nihondaira Zoo stop. The entire journey will take around 1.5 hours. A one-way train ticket will cost around 1,500 yen, and the bus fare is approximately 500 yen.
