Getting There

Car
If you are driving, head towards Route 135 from any location in Izu. Follow signs for Hakone. Once you reach the Hakone area, continue on Route 1 (Hakone bypass) towards Sengokuhara. Look for signs directing you to Owakudani. You will need to park in the designated parking areas as you approach Owakudani. Note that parking might be limited, especially on weekends.

Public Transportation
To reach Owakudani via public transport, take the Odakyu Line from Izu to Hakone-Yumoto Station. From there, transfer to the Hakone Tozan Railway and ride to Gora Station. At Gora, switch to the Hakone Ropeway, which will take you directly to Owakudani. Keep an eye on the schedule, as the ropeway may have limited service during certain hours.
