Car
From the center of Izumi, take Route 26 heading northwest. Continue for approximately 10 kilometers. When you reach the intersection near Sakai, follow signs for Route 310. After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto Hachigamineji street. Hodo-ji will be on your right at 401 Hachigamineji, Minami Ward, Sakai, Osaka 590-0125. Parking is available nearby, but may incur a fee.
Public Transportation
From Izumi Station, take the Nankai Main Line train towards Namba. Get off at Sakai Station (about 30 minutes). At Sakai Station, transfer to the Nankai Koya Line and take the train towards Koyasan. Get off at Hachigamineji Station. From there, it's a 10-minute walk to Hodo-ji, located at 401 Hachigamineji, Minami Ward, Sakai, Osaka 590-0125. Be sure to check train schedules as they may vary.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Izumi. Simply tell the driver 'Hodo-ji Temple' or provide the address '401 Hachigamineji, Minami Ward, Sakai, Osaka 590-0125'. The ride will take approximately 20-25 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. Expect to pay around 3,000 to 4,000 yen for the fare.
