The most convenient way to reach Izumo Hotel The Cliff is by car. From Izumo Enmusubi Airport, it's approximately a 35-minute drive via the San'in Expressway. From Izumo Taisha Shrine, the hotel is about 19 minutes away via National Route 431 and Kunibiki Coast Road. On-site parking is available for guests. Note that a helicopter taxi service is also available from Osaka, Kyoto and Hiroshima.

Taxis are readily available in Izumo, and the hotel is a 5-minute taxi ride from JR San'in Main Line Odashi Station. From Izumo Airport (IZO) to Izumo, a taxi will cost approximately ¥4,400 - ¥5,500 and takes 12 minutes. From Izumo to Izumo-taisha, a taxi will cost approximately ¥3,600 - ¥4,300 and takes 10 minutes. It is best to ask the hotel to book a taxi for you.

Public Transport
To reach Izumo Hotel The Cliff using public transport, take the JR San'in Main Line to Odashi Station, which is about 30 minutes by foot to the hotel. From JR Izumo-shi station, take the Ichibata Bus to Izumo Susa, which is a 40 minute ride, followed by a 5 minute taxi ride to the hotel. From Izumo Airport (IZO) to Izumo, take the train from Shinji to Izumoshi, which takes approximately 25 minutes and costs ¥2,500 - ¥5,000.
