Car
If you're driving, start from central Kaga and head towards Route 8. Follow the signs for Yamanaka Onsen, which is about a 20-minute drive. Once you reach Yamanaka Onsen, look for the signs indicating Kakusenkei Gorges. You will find parking areas nearby where you can leave your car.
Public Transportation
To reach Kakusenkei Gorges using public transportation, take a bus from Kaga Station to Yamanaka Onsen. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Yamanaka Onsen, follow the signs to Kakusenkei Gorges, which is about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. You will see signs directing you along the scenic route.
Walking
If you're already in the Yamanaka Onsen area, you can walk to Kakusenkei Gorges. From the Yamanaka Onsen bus stop, head northwest along Route 156. After about 500 meters, you will find a trailhead leading into the gorge area. The walk is beautiful and takes approximately 15 minutes.
