Public Transport
From Kagaonsen Station, local buses, including the CANBUS tourist loop, connect to the various onsen towns and attractions. A one-day CANBUS pass costs ¥1,300 for adults. The Mountain Course serves Yamashiro and Yamanaka Onsen, while the Sea Course goes to Katayamazu Onsen. Bus schedules are available at the station.
Taxi
Taxis are readily available at Kagaonsen Station. A taxi to Yamashiro Onsen costs approximately ¥2,000-¥2,500 and takes about 15 minutes. To Yamanaka Onsen, the fare is around ¥3,500 and the journey is about 20 minutes.
Rideshare
Kaga City offers a rideshare service through the Uber app. From 7 AM to 7 PM, Uber rideshare cars serve the areas between Kagaonsen Station and Kaga City's major tourist attractions and leisure facilities. This includes the Yamanaka Onsen, Yamashiro Onsen, and Katayamazu Onsen areas, as well as other popular spots.
