Getting There

  • Car

    If you're driving from central Kagoshima, head south on Route 3 (Kagoshima Bay Road) towards Yoshino-chō. Continue on Route 3 for about 15 minutes, then take a right onto Prefectural Road 31. Follow the signs for Sengan-en. There is parking available at the site, which may incur a fee of approximately 500 yen.

  • Public Transportation - Bus

    From Kagoshima Chuo Station, take the Kotsu Bus No. 1 or No. 2 heading towards Sengan-en. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes. Get off at the 'Sengan-en' bus stop. The bus fare is around 200 yen. Once you disembark, Sengan-en is just a short walk from the bus stop.

  • Public Transportation - Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from anywhere in Kagoshima. The fare from Kagoshima Chuo Station to Sengan-en is approximately 1,500 to 2,000 yen, depending on traffic. The journey will take around 20 minutes.
