Getting There

    If you are driving, head north on Route 3 (Kagoshima-Yakushima Road) from central Kagoshima. Follow signs for Sengan-en. Once you reach Yoshino-chō, look for the entrance signs to Sengan-en on your left. The parking lot is available near the entrance.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Sengan-en by public transportation, take the Kagoshima City Tram (Line 1) from Kagoshima Chuo Station towards Suwanohara. Get off at the 'Yoshino' stop. From there, it is a 10-minute walk to Sengan-en. Follow the signs towards Sengan-en; you should see the entrance on your left.

    If you prefer a taxi, simply hail one from anywhere in Kagoshima and tell the driver you want to go to Sengan-en (仙巌園). The taxi ride will take approximately 15 minutes from the city center, depending on traffic.
