Bus
From Kanazawa Station, take the Hokutetsu Bus bound for Ainokura. The bus departs from the east exit of the station. The journey takes approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Make sure to check the schedule in advance as the bus frequency may vary. Once you arrive at the Ainokura bus stop, you will be just a short walk away from the Gokayama village, known for its traditional gassho-zukuri farmhouses.
Train and Bus
Take the JR Hokuriku Line from Kanazawa Station to Takaoka Station. The train ride lasts about 30 minutes. Once at Takaoka Station, transfer to the Ainokura-bound Hokutetsu Bus. This second leg of the journey will take approximately 40 minutes. Alight at the Ainokura bus stop, and you will be near the Gokayama area.
