Walking
If you are starting from Kanazawa Station, exit the station and head towards the East Exit. From there, follow the signs for the Kanazawa Loop Bus and take the bus labeled 'Kanazawa Loop Bus (Right Loop)'. Ride the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at 'Kenrokuen Garden' stop. From the bus stop, walk towards Kenrokuen Garden, and you will find Kanazawa Castle nearby. The castle is just a short 5-minute walk from the garden.

From Kanazawa Station, you can take the IRIS Bus (Route 7) towards 'Marunouchi'. The bus ride will take approximately 10 minutes. Get off at 'Marunouchi' stop. After disembarking, walk towards the castle grounds which will be just a 5-minute walk from the bus stop. Look for the large stone walls of the castle as your landmark.

If you are in the Omicho Market area, head west towards the main road (Route 159). Turn right and walk straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Marunouchi Street. Turn left onto Marunouchi Street and continue walking. Kanazawa Castle will be on your right after about 500 meters.
