Public Transit (Bus)
If you are in Kanazawa Station, take the bus from the East Exit. Look for the bus stop that serves the Kanazawa Loop Bus (Kanazawa Muni Bus). Board the bus that goes towards Kenrokuen/Yuwaku Onsen. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and get off at the 'Kenrokuen Garden' stop. From there, walk towards the entrance of Kenrokuen Garden, and you will find the Kotoji Toro (Stone Lantern) just a short walk inside the garden.
Walking
If you are starting from the Kenrokuen Garden area, walk towards the main entrance of Kenrokuen Garden, which is located at 1 Kenrokumachi. Enter the garden and follow the signs to the Kotoji Toro. It is prominently located within the garden, so you should see it shortly after entering. The walk should take around 5-10 minutes.
Taxi
If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from your location in Kanazawa. Simply tell the driver 'Kenrokuen' or 'Kotoji Toro'. The taxi ride will usually take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off near the entrance of Kenrokuen Garden, from which you can walk to the Kotoji Toro.
