From Kanazawa Station, take the Nohi Bus bound for Shirakawa-go. The bus ride takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Shirakawa-go bus stop, you will be just a short walk from Ogimachi. Follow the signs directing you to Ogimachi Village, which is about a 10-minute walk.
Train and Bus
Take the JR Hokuriku Line from Kanazawa Station to Takayama Station, which takes about 2 hours. From Takayama Station, transfer to the Nohi Bus that goes to Shirakawa-go. The bus ride will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Shirakawa-go, follow the signs to Ogimachi Village, which is about a 10-minute walk.

If you prefer a more direct option, you can take a taxi from Kanazawa to Ogimachi. This will be a more expensive choice, but it can save you time. The taxi ride takes approximately 1 hour and will drop you off directly at the entrance to Ogimachi Castle Observation Deck.
