Walking
If you are near Kanazawa Station, head out of the station's west exit. You will find a large park area called 'Kazuemachi' right in front. Walk straight through the park towards the main road, then turn left onto Route 159. Continue walking straight for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection of Route 159 and 'Kinoshinbomachi'. Turn right onto Kinoshinbomachi Street and walk for about 5 minutes. The Tsuzumi-mon Gate will be on your left side at the address 2 Kinoshinbomachi.

From Kanazawa Station, take the bus bound for 'Nishi Chaya' or 'Higashi Chaya' from the bus terminal located outside the station. Get off at the 'Kinoshinbomachi' stop. From there, walk for about 2 minutes down Kinoshinbomachi Street, and you will arrive at Tsuzumi-mon Gate, located at 2 Kinoshinbomachi.

If you have rented a bicycle, start from Kanazawa Station and head west towards the park. Follow the park path until you reach the main road.
