    Getting There

    Car

    If you are driving, head towards Fushimi Ward in Kyoto. Use the following directions: From Kyoto Station, take the Higashi Oji-dori road heading southeast. Continue straight for about 8 kilometers until you reach Daigo-ji Temple, which is located at 22 Daigohigashiojicho. Look for signs indicating Daigo-ji as you approach. There is parking available near the entrance.

    Train

    To visit Daigo-ji by train, take the JR Nara Line from Kyoto Station to the Yamashina Station. From Yamashina Station, transfer to the Tozai Line and ride to Daigo Station. Upon exiting Daigo Station, follow the signs to Daigo-ji Temple, which is around a 20-minute walk. The route is mostly downhill, making it relatively easy to navigate.

    Bus

    If you prefer to take the bus, from Kyoto Station, board the Kyoto City Bus No. 207 or No. 100 and get off at the Daigo-ji bus stop. The temple is a short walk from the bus stop. Follow the signs to Daigo-ji Temple, which will guide you the rest of the way.
