Getting There

Walking

From JR Saga-Arashiyama Station, walk north for about 15 minutes. Head through the main street and turn left after passing the railway crossing. Continue straight, following the signs for Jojakkoji Temple. The path will lead you through a residential area and then gradually uphill towards the temple entrance.
Public Transport

Take Kyoto City Bus #11, #91, or #93 from Kyoto Station to JR Saga-Arashiyama Station. From there, follow the walking directions. The bus fare is ¥230 for adults. Alternatively, take the Randen tram line to Arashiyama Station and walk for about 20 minutes. The Randen fare is ¥250.
