Getting there

Car

If you are driving from Kyoto, take the Meishin Expressway towards Osaka. After approximately 40 km, merge onto the Hanshin Expressway 1, then take the exit toward Osaka Castle. Follow the signs for Osaka Castle Park. There is parking available nearby for a fee, generally around ¥500 per hour.

Train

From Osaka Station, take the JR Loop Line to Osakajokoen Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Osakajokoen Station, exit and walk south for about 10 minutes to reach Osaka Castle Park, where Kakushi-kuruwa Bailey is located. A one-way train ticket costs around ¥200.

Subway

From Namba Station, take the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line to Shinsaibashi Station, then transfer to the Osaka Metro Chuo Line and ride to Tanimachi 4-chome Station. From there, it’s a 15-minute walk to Osaka Castle Park. The total cost for this journey is approximately ¥270.

Bus

You can also take a bus from various locations in Osaka to Osaka Castle Park. For example, from Namba, take the Osaka City Bus No. 88. It takes about 30 minutes and costs around ¥230. Get off at the Osaka Castle Park stop, and Kakushi-kuruwa Bailey is a short walk from there.
