If you are driving from Osaka, take the Hanshin Expressway Route 13 towards Ikeda. Merge onto the Kinki Expressway (Kansai Expressway) heading towards Nara. Exit at the Higashiosaka IC and follow the signs to Higashiosaka City. Once in the city, navigate to 1 Chome-12-29 Shimokosaka. There is parking available nearby, but be prepared for potential parking fees.

From Osaka Station, take the JR Yamatoji Line to Nara. Transfer at the JR Matsui Station to the Kintetsu Nara Line. Get off at the Kintetsu Higashiosaka Station. From there, it's about a 20-minute walk to Kosaka Castle. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from the station that will take you closer to the castle.

From Kintetsu Higashiosaka Station, you can catch the local bus (Bus No. 60) that heads towards the Kosaka area. The bus ride is approximately 10 minutes, and you will need to pay a fare of around 210 yen. Get off at the Kosaka Station stop, which is a short walk from the castle.
