To reach Kumata Shrine by public transportation, start from Osaka Station. Take the JR Osaka Loop Line to Tennoji Station. From Tennoji Station, transfer to the JR Hanwa Line and take the train to Hirano Station. The ride will take about 25 minutes. Upon arrival at Hirano Station, exit the station and walk south on Hirano Miyamachi Street for approximately 15 minutes until you reach Kumata Shrine at 2 Chome-1-67 Hirano Miyamachi, Hirano Ward, Osaka. The total cost of the journey is around ¥400.

If you are driving to Kumata Shrine, start from central Osaka and head east on Route 4. Follow the signs for the Hanwa Expressway and merge onto the expressway. Take the exit at Hirano. From the exit, follow the local roads to Hirano Miyamachi Street. The shrine is located at 2 Chome-1-67 Hirano Miyamachi. There is limited parking available near the shrine, so plan to arrive early if you want a spot. Be aware that tolls on the expressway will incur additional costs, approximately ¥700.
