Half Day Matcha Tour in Uji with History Temples and Tastings

Memorable day with Tom

Our guide, Tom, went above and beyond to create a special experience for us. We appreciated his knowledge of history and culture, as well as his meaningful connections to the local people. He is a true ambassador for Japan! We will cherish the memories and photos (taken by Tom, who is also a fantastic photographer)!

7 Hours Private Guided Tour Uji and Wazuka Matcha Farm

Must do day trip for Matcha lovers!

An absolutely incredible must-do tour of Uji and the surrounding matcha producing area. If you are interested in off the beaten path, genuine experiences with local people, this is your trip! Masae is a local of the area who has dedicated her career to building up her local community of matcha producers and local craftstmen by sharing the treasures of Uji and Wazuka with curious travellers. She was an incredible guide and host, taking us around to see where she grew up and meeting local matcha farmers and community members. She explains matcha tea growing and making in detail, and performs a tea ceremony for you in her home. Truly a one of a kind experience that is 100% worth every penny. Highlight of our trip to Japan and a definite must do if you have the time!

Nara Deer Park, Todaiji Temple, Uji Matcha & Onsen Day Tour

Beautiful day and experiences

The trip was good and enjoyable. Leo was informative and helpful with advice. We had a great time. Nara Park we had enough biscuit for the deers, we got butted if this is not done quick enough especially after they bow. The walk and shrine around the park was good. Matcha and walk around Uji was enough as we had lunch on recomendation by Leo, excellent choice. Onsen was a very quick ecperience as half the other client choose to sit in the bus. We were informed about expectation so we can make informed decision. Overall great experience. Erica
