If you are driving, start from Kumano Kodo and head towards Kimiidera. Use Route 42 and follow the signs for Wakayama. After approximately 30 minutes, you will see signs for Kimiidera on your left. Turn left onto Kimiidera Road and continue until you reach Hondo, located at 1201 Kimiidera, Wakayama, 641-0012. There is parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Hondo by public transport, take a bus from the Kumano Kodo area to Wakayama Station. Once you arrive at Wakayama Station, transfer to the Kimiidera bus line (Kimiidera and Kimiidera Temple are common stops). The bus ride will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the Kimiidera stop, and from there, it's a short 5-minute walk to Hondo, located at 1201 Kimiidera.
