    If you are driving from central Kyoto, take Route 162 (Kiyotaki Arashiyama Road) towards Arashiyama. There are several parking lots available near the entrance to Arashiyama, but they can get crowded, especially on weekends. Make sure to arrive early to secure a spot. Once parked, walk towards the Togetsukyo Bridge to enter the main area of Arashiyama.

    To reach Arashiyama via train, take the JR San-In Line from Kyoto Station to Saga-Arashiyama Station. The journey takes about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Saga-Arashiyama Station, exit the station and follow the signs leading to Arashiyama. It's a short 10-minute walk from the station to the famous Togetsukyo Bridge, which is the main entrance to the area.

    You can also take a bus from Kyoto Station to Arashiyama. Board the Kyoto City Bus #28, which goes directly to Arashiyama. The bus ride will take about 40 minutes. Get off at the 'Arashiyama' stop. From there, walk towards the Togetsukyo Bridge, which is only a few minutes away and is the central landmark of the area.
