    If you are driving from Kyoto, take the Meishin Expressway and exit at Nara Interchange. Follow Route 369 towards Nara city center. Once you reach Nara city, follow the signs to Nara Park. Continue past the park and turn onto Takabatakecho. The Ukimido Pavilion is located within Nara Park, near the pond. You can park at designated parking areas in Nara Park.

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Nara Line train towards Nara. The journey takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Nara Station, exit the station and take bus number 70 towards 'Nara Park' (Nara Koen). Get off at the 'Ukimido' bus stop. The Ukimido Pavilion is a short walk from the bus stop, located within Nara Park, near the pond.
