Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the City Bus #100 or #206 towards 'Kiyomizu-dera' and get off at 'Shijo Keihan' bus stop. From there, walk east along Shijo street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Higashioji street. Turn left and walk straight for another 5 minutes until you reach Keninji Temple located at Komatsucho 584.
Subway
Take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station to Shijo Station. At Shijo Station, take the Exit 1 and head east on Shijo Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Higashioji Street. Turn left and continue straight for about 5 minutes to reach Keninji Temple at Komatsucho 584.

If you are near the Gion area, you can walk to Keninji Temple. Head north towards Shijo Avenue, then turn right and walk east until you reach the intersection with Higashioji Street. Turn left and walk straight for about 5 minutes to reach Keninji Temple located at Komatsucho 584.
