    Bus

    From Kyoto Station, take the City Bus #100 or #206 towards 'Kiyomizu-dera' and get off at 'Shijo Keihan' bus stop. From there, walk east along Shijo street for about 5 minutes until you reach the intersection with Higashioji street. Turn left and walk straight for another 5 minutes until you reach Keninji Temple located at Komatsucho 584.

    Subway

    Take the Karasuma Subway Line from Kyoto Station to Shijo Station. At Shijo Station, take the Exit 1 and head east on Shijo Street. Walk for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with Higashioji Street. Turn left and continue straight for about 5 minutes to reach Keninji Temple at Komatsucho 584.
