Getting There

  • Train

    From Kyoto Station, take the JR Tokaido Shinkansen Line to Shin-Osaka Station. The journey takes about 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Shin-Osaka Station, transfer to the Osaka Metro Midosuji Line and head south toward Nakamozu Station. Get off at Namba Station (approximately 15 minutes). From Namba Station, exit toward the south exit and walk towards Dotonbori. The Site of Yotsubashi is about a 10-minute walk from Dotonbori.

    At Kyoto Station, find the Kyoto City Bus terminal located just outside the station. Take Bus #205 or #17 towards Osaka and get off at the Osaka City Hall Stop (approximately 30 minutes). From the bus stop, walk west toward the Yotsubashi area which is about a 10-minute walk. Follow the signs towards Nishi Ward, and you will arrive at the Site of Yotsubashi.

  • Taxi

    You can take a taxi directly from your location in Kyoto to the Site of Yotsubashi in Osaka. The journey should take about 40-50 minutes depending on traffic. Just give the driver the address: 1 Chome 新町 Nishi Ward, Osaka, 550-0013. Ensure you have the address written down in Japanese if possible, to show the driver.
