Train
From Kyoto Station, take the JR Special Rapid Service train towards Himeji. Get off at Osaka Station, which is approximately a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive at Osaka Station, exit the station and follow the signs to the Umeda Sky Building. It’s about a 10-minute walk from the station. Head towards the Grand Front Osaka shopping complex, then walk along the street towards the Umeda Sky Building, which is easily recognizable with its unique architecture.
Bus
From Kyoto Station, take the Kyoto City Bus number 101 or 205 towards Osaka. Get off at the Osaka Umeda Bus Terminal. From the bus terminal, walk towards the Umeda Sky Building, which is about a 15-minute walk. Look for the tall building with the distinctive 'floating' garden on top; it’s a prominent landmark in the area.
Subway
At Kyoto Station, take the Karasuma Line subway towards Takeda. Change trains at Karasuma Oike Station to the Chuo Line towards Cosmosquare. Get off at Umeda Station. When you exit the subway, follow the signs for the Umeda Sky Building, which is a short 5-10 minute walk away. Just head towards the tall, uniquely designed building.
