Car
If you are driving from central Mikawa, head west on Route 259. Continue on Route 259 for approximately 20 kilometers. You will pass through several small towns and scenic landscapes. Once you reach Tahara, follow the signs for Iragocho and then take a left onto Koijigaura Road. After about 5 kilometers, you will find Koijigahama Beach on your right. There is parking available near the beach, which may incur a small fee, typically around 500 yen for the day.
Public Transportation
To reach Koijigahama Beach using public transportation, start by taking a train from Mikawa Station to Tahara Station. The journey takes about 30 minutes and costs approximately 600 yen. Once you arrive at Tahara Station, exit the station and look for the bus stop. Board the bus heading towards Iragocho. The bus ride will take around 30 minutes, and the fare is approximately 400 yen. Get off at the Koijigaura stop, and from there, it is a short 10-minute walk to Koijigahama Beach.
