Car
If you're traveling by car from central Mikawa, take Route 42 towards Shirahama. Continue on Route 42 for approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach Shirahama, follow the signs for Sandanbeki Cave which will direct you to Route 297. The cave is located at 2927-52 Shirahama, Nishimuro District, Wakayama 649-2211. There is parking available near the cave entrance, but note that there may be a parking fee of around 500 yen.
Public Transportation
If you prefer public transport, start at Mikawa Station. Take the JR Kisei Line train towards Shirahama Station. The train ride takes approximately 50 minutes. From Shirahama Station, you can take a local bus (Shirahama-cho bus) that stops near Sandanbeki Cave. The bus ride takes about 20 minutes, and you should get off at the Sandanbeki bus stop. The entrance to the cave is a short walk from there.
