If you are traveling by car, Tokei Shrine is located at 1-1 Toyo, Tanabe, Wakayama 646-0029. From the Kumano Kodo trails, navigate to Route 42. Follow Route 42 towards Tanabe City. After approximately 20 minutes, look for signs directing you to Tokei Shrine. There is parking available near the shrine, but it can be limited during peak tourist seasons. To reach Tokei Shrine using public transportation, head to Tanabe Station, which is accessible via the JR Kisei Line. From Tanabe Station, take the Nanki Bus towards 'Kumano Kodo' or 'Toyo' and disembark at the 'Tokei Jinja-mae' bus stop. The bus ride takes about 30 minutes, and a one-way ticket costs approximately 500 yen. From the bus stop, it's a short 5-minute walk to the shrine entrance.
