Car
If you are driving from central Mimasaka, head southeast on Route 313. Continue for about 15 kilometers until you reach the junction with Route 486. Turn left onto Route 486 and follow the signs for Nishiawakura. After approximately 5 kilometers, turn right onto Kageishi Road, and then take a left onto Kageishi. Awakura Onsen will be on your right at 2072-6 Kageishi, Nishiawakura, Okayama. Note that parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
To reach Awakura Onsen using public transportation, start by taking a local bus from Mimasaka station to Nishiawakura. Buses run approximately every hour, and the fare is around 500 yen. Once you arrive at Nishiawakura, you will need to take a taxi for the final 3 kilometers to Awakura Onsen, which should cost around 1000 yen. Be sure to check the bus schedule ahead of time, as services may be limited.
